Our medical center serves Veterans throughout southern West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio and offers a comprehensive continuum of care, including: * State-of-the-art Gastroenterology services * Comprehensive Women's Health Center * Community Resource & Referral Center for homeless Veterans * Extensive specialty care and interdisciplinary treatment programs * Strong academic affiliation with Marshall University School of Medicine Position Highlights As a Gastroenterologist within the Medical Service, you will: Practice independently within a collaborative specialty team Diagnose and treat disorders involving: Esophagus Stomach Small intestine Colon and rectum Pancreas Gallbladder Biliary system Liver Perform and assist with gastroenterological procedures Deliver comprehensive outpatient and inpatient GI care Participate in educational activities with Marshall University learners Work primarily at the Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center campus Enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday schedule Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM No RVU pressure.
