Registered Nurse - IMC

Job Summary • The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) delivers high-quality nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring and moderately complex medical interventions. • Works collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. • Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status and respond appropriately to changes. • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed. • Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system. • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans. • Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and care plans. • Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients. • Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary. Required Qualifications • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher. • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practicing state. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in IMC or step-down unit. • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). • 2+ years of experience in Intermediate Care, Progressive Care, or ICU. • Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms. #J-18808-Ljbffr
