Maintenance Machine TechnicianPosition Summary: The Maintenance Machine Technician is responsible for high quality and effective repair of equipment, will also work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. Will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. With RK University, accredited apprenticeships, competitive benefits, and deep community investment, RK offers the stability of a family-owned company with the opportunity and momentum of an industry leader.Primary Responsibilities:Previous experience doing maintenance on industrial equipment and strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Repair and perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC repairs such as replace control devices, switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as neededPerform work order repairs, inspections and adjustments in a timely fashion.Fabrication and modification of new and existing equipment.Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment including CNC Machinery, Presses, Plasma Cutters, etc.Gather and maintain a complete set of required tools, including calipers, electrical meters and other diagnostic and measurement devices.Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to define problem areas and assist with resolution.Recommend improvements and/or changes to PM systems/tasks when applicableFollow standard practices and all governmental regulations and laws relating to powered equipment.Train team members on set up, lock out, and operation fabrication equipment.Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and participate in safety programs to improve operational uptime and equipment life.Prefer background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC and overall machine troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with industrial tools and equipmentOther duties as assignedAccountability:Comply with all company policies and procedures.All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present.
