Sales Director

Infosys is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to drive net‑new business in Automotive for the Manufacturingvertical. This individual will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing strategic and large deals with the manufacturing enterprises. The ideal candidate is a proven “hunter” with a strong network, and expert in shaping and selling IT solutions and services to Industrial manufactures, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, or other asset heavy industry industries. The Senior Sales Manager will be growing net new Automotive business at rapid pace and achieving new logo acquisition targets. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the market, competition and partner ecosystem to develop compelling sales strategies. This person also needs to be a big picture thinker and has ability to work with the solutioning teams to shape up the client value proposition. The “hunter” is motivated to acquire new logos, drive pipeline velocity and close contracts. To learn more about Infosys and see our perspectives in action, please visit us at Role Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities Serve as the primary market‑facing representative for Infosys, positioning the company as a trusted advisor and strategic partner Build and nurture executive‑level relationships with key decision‑makers and sponsors Leverage the full Infosys portfolio—including Application Services, Data & Analytics, Cloud & Infrastructure, Security, Digital, IoT, Business Process Services etc - to develop solutions aligned to client business needs Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across practices, verticals, and global delivery teams to drive deal pursuit and execution Lead opportunity qualification, proposal development, and executive‑level presentations Act as a key contributor to the growth and expansion of Infosys’ global service offerings Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 15+ years of experience, with strong sales experience in services industry Develop and execute sales growth strategies Track record of building relationship with CXOs of leading automotive organizations Expert in full sales lifecycle management from prospecting through contract closure Hands‑on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations Manage complex pursuits and multi-service line opportunities Demonstrated ability in Industry thought leadership and domain led selling Leverage hyperscalers and software partners ecosystem Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills Represent Infosys at industry conferences, client events, and executive forums Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the US without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Preferred Qualifications Consistent, well‑documented track record of achieving or exceeding annual sales quotas Demonstrated success generating organic revenue growth through structured prospecting and outbound sales techniques Recent experience selling consulting or transformation‑led engagements.
