Position Summary Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions. Work You’ll Do Deloitte is seeking a Consultant to join its Government & Public Services (GPS) Sustainability, Infrastructure & Real Estate practice. This professional will support federal, state, local, and higher education clients in addressing complex challenges related to sustainability strategy, capital planning, infrastructure transformation, real estate optimization, and program delivery. The Consultant will work as part of cross-functional teams to deliver analysis, manage workstreams, develop client-ready materials, and help drive measurable mission outcomes. Key Responsibilities Support client engagements focused on sustainability, infrastructure modernization, capital projects, and real estate strategy within the public sectorConduct quantitative and qualitative analysis, including market research, benchmarking, financial/business case analysis, and operational assessmentsAssist in developing strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans for infrastructure and real estate transformation initiativesPrepare clear, structured deliverables including presentations, reports, dashboards, meeting materials, and executive briefingsCoordinate project workstreams, track milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies, and support day-to-day project management activitiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, operations, engineering, finance, and technology to solve client problemsSupport stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to gather requirements and align on recommendationsContribute to business development, proposal support, internal initiatives, and practice development efforts as neededOperate effectively in public sector environments with strong attention to compliance, documentation, and client governance requirements The successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to others The TeamDeloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,700 to $162,800You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
