Description

Insight Global's client is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. We are currently seeking Licensed Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for various projects in the solar installation process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Complete projects within established policies and procedures
Complete projects within time frames and budgets
Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety
Assemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment
MSP Rebuilds & Upgrades
Responsible for the groundwork of a solar installation which includes the connection to the MSP
Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to read blueprints
Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Solar or relevant experience is preferred

Driving Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old
Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check

Work Environment:

PV installation is done outdoors. Installers work on rooftops but also sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electrical grid.
PV installers work as part of a team and may require the help of technicians and electricians
