Department 70519 Atrium Health Mobile Medicine - Mobile Integrated Health Position Status Full time Benefits Eligible Yes Hours Per Week 40 Schedule Details 7-7 9-9 (varies) Pay Range $25.30 - $37.95 Major Responsibilities Respects patient rights and confidentiality, complies with HIPAA and Advocate policies. Provides accurate, legible documentation of patient care. Delivers quality patient care and education per Mobile Medicine policies and state regulations. Interprets data and monitors, responds with correct interventions. Participates in Mobile Medicine Performance Improvement activities. Administers medications and IV solutions safely, according to policy. Maintains flexibility with vehicle assignments; vehicles may be reassigned as needed. Maintains a clean, mission‑ready environment for vehicles. Uses technology for longitudinal patient assessment, clinical interventions, physician consultations, and data collection. Understanding of ethics, cultural competency, and reimbursement models. Day, night, weekend, and on‑call work may be required. Licensure & Certification Requirements NC and SC State Paramedic License (SC required only in CLT markets). GA State license. WI State License. MI State License. Paramedic certification or Associates degree in Paramedicine. Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Valid driver’s license; must maintain a motor vehicle operator record acceptable to Atrium Health’s insurance carrier. Experience 1–3 years of full‑time experience in a 911 system functioning at the paramedic level or in a comprehensive emergency department. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of healthcare, EMS systems, and regulatory organizations. Ability to drive vehicles safely in all weather conditions. Critical thinking and rapid decision‑making under stress. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physical stamina: able to lift 50 pounds and work in tight, poorly lit spaces. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must work and drive in all weather, including extreme heat, cold, and wet conditions. Exposure to high stress, unpleasant environments, and contaminated materials. Requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must have intact sight, hearing, smell, touch, and good finger dexterity. Excellent communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications National Registry within 1 year of hire.
