Job Details

The Physical Therapist role offers an engaging environment that includes treating a diverse patient population with a mix of inpatient/acute and outpatient needs. The schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts either from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, starting at 8:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to a variety of patients, including mostly orthopedic and neurological cases.
• Manage an outpatient orthopedic practice within an athletic club setting.
• Conduct outpatient appointments lasting 45 minutes each.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation aides and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Evaluate and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Oregon Physical Therapy license (can be obtained after submission).
• BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with a mixed caseload of 75% acute care and 25% outpatient orthopedic patients.

Additional Information

The physical therapy department consists of a supportive team with 10 physical therapists, 5 occupational therapists, and 2 speech-language pathologists. Business casual attire is expected, and no denim is permitted. Orientation will be provided on the first day.
