Position Description Haven Nursing Center is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Receptionist to join our team. Our receptionist is often the first person residents, families, visitors, and vendors see when they enter our facility, so we are looking for someone who is welcoming, kind, helpful, and professional. The right person should enjoy working with people and be able to provide excellent customer service while keeping the front office organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities
Hours Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM If you are dependable, enjoy helping others, and can make residents, families, and visitors feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door, we would love to hear from you! Type: Full-time
- Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors with a smile and welcoming attitude
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally
- Assist visitors and families with questions and directions
- Take and deliver accurate messages
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
- Perform basic clerical duties including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry
- Assist Administration and other departments with office tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Protect resident and employee confidentiality
- Communicate professionally with residents, families, coworkers, and visitors
- Work cooperatively with all departments
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Friendly, kind, and professional
- Dependable and punctual
- Works well with others
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable answering phones and interacting with the public
- Basic computer skills
- Organized and able to multitask
- Patient and compassionate when working with elderly residents and their families
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Professional appearance and attitude
