Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: unspecified. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in the ICU environment, with the flexibility to float between units as needed. The role requires night shift coverage and includes responsibilities essential to critical care for adult and geriatric patients.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; Education requirements: at least 1 year of clinical experience in ICU; Degree requirements: RN license, current license in state or compact license in hand; Location requirements: within 50 miles of the facility; Years of experience: 0 years minimum.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, management of complex conditions such as DKA, PNA, Sepsis, Overdose, Dialysis/CRRT, and ventilator management, along with performing procedures like central line care and management of IV sedation.
• The candidate must have experience with charting systems, preferably Epic, and be capable of working in a fast-paced critical care setting.
• Additional operational details include a requirement to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays and to complete orientation modules prior to start.
• Candidates should include responses to specific pre-submission questions regarding previous employment at similar facilities, references covering the last year (or six months for CNAs), and confirmation of experience and licensure.
