Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2290 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

• ADN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience:
At least 2 years of RN experience preferred.
Preceptor and charge experience is a plus.

Special Requests:
No block schedule requests; 48 hours can be considered but are not guaranteed.

Unit Details:
The adult/geriatric patient population includes total joint and surgical patients, ACS, acute-on-chronic medical conditions such as CHF and CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB.
Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, an Omnicel drug dispensing cabinet, and Zoll defibrillators.

Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule includes 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period.
No scheduled on-call shifts; scheduled shifts may be flexed to an on-call shift as needed twice during the contract.

Floating Requirements:
Floating to other units (IMC and ED) in the hospital is expected.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver's license required
