The facility features a 15-bed department and operates in partnership with an additional regional location, providing comprehensive women's health services to the surrounding communities with strong organizational support.

Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Job Details:

• Immediate need for July 6-10, with ongoing opportunity to join the provider pool for the foreseeable future
• This is a market position, meaning the provider may be scheduled at either of two locations and will need to credential at both hospitals simultaneously
• Provider will only be responsible for one hospital at a time to ensure patient safety
• NC Medicaid Eligibility is required
• Active North Carolina medical license required
• Board certification required; temporary privileges available with clean malpractice history and NPDB
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
• ACLS certification required
• 4-6 patient encounters per shift in hospital, with up to 15 encounters in clinic setting
• Manage both low and high risk pregnancies
• Perform FHR interpretation including NST/CST/FSE
• Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) with performance and interpretation capabilities
• Perform routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, cesarean sections, breech, and multiple births
• Decision-making for c-sections and management of abruptions
• Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
• Provide office and minor gynecology services including IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
• Provide surgical gynecology services including open procedures, laparoscopic diagnostic and minor procedures, and operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
