About the Job This role owns the digital customer experience as a growth lever, focused on improving conversion, increasing average order value, and supporting long‑term customer value. The Senior Director partners closely with UX, Engineering, Brand, Analytics, and Site Merchandising to deliver a seamless, brand‑aligned shopping experience. Responsibilities Business & Commercial Accountability : Drive conversion and average order value improvements attributable to product and UX initiatives. Ensure the site supports long‑term customer value through brand consistency and reliable experience. Product Decisions & Roadmap : Own and own the roadmap, focused on well‑defined customer and business problems. Set clear hypotheses, success criteria, and trade‑off transparency. Operating Model & Process : Implement a clear intake and prioritization system that limits noise and ad‑hoc requests. Leverage strong judgment, accountability, and autonomy across the PM team and Director of UX Design. Cross‑Functional Partnership : Partner with engineering, brand, merchandising, UX design, and analytics to embed data‑driven decision making. Advance product early in shaping bets, avoiding reactive execution. Platform & Technical Stewardship : Define technical direction, stack decisions, and manage technical debt to enable rapid, reliable experimentation. Facilitate a robust A/B testing and experimentation program with analytics support. Resource Planning : Align headcount, capacity, and investment to high‑impact initiatives, preventing burnout. Testing & Learning : Lead rigorous experimentation to derive durable improvements across the experience. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in digital product, with ≥4 years managing people. Experience owning digital product for a scaled retail or DTC business ($200M+ revenue). Familiarity with modern eCommerce platforms (Shopify Plus, headless architectures, CMS, product taxonomy). Strong technical discussion and platform decision engagement. Business judgment regarding inventory, margin, and vendor impact. Hands‑on design of product features across the eCommerce experience. Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and interpreting results. What We Offer Competitive compensation: $230,000‑$250,000 per year base, with additional annual bonus and equity options.
