The Food+ team has developed a clearly defined strategy that puts a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, the Responsible Business framework, and behavioral economics.About the role: The Strategic Project Manager will lead and coordinate the implementation of high impact projects, partnering closely with regional leaders and subject matter experts to align on governance, tracking, measuring and reporting progress. This role will regularly convene the project management and other related communities in order to develop and align on global project resources and a consistent approach.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of global projects within the View email address on click.appcast.io Data Centers and consult on View email address on click.appcast.io global project governance and deployments in collaboration with the Director of Global Strategic ProjectsDefine project scope, deliverables, work streams and metrics that support business goals in collaboration with relevant stakeholders internally and externally, including senior executives, sponsors, business owners, program SMEs and operationsEstablish, maintain, and optimize project governance, in accordance with evolving project needs, to ensure ongoing accountability towards planned outcomesCreate, execute and track end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements throughout the project lifecycleCreate and maintain all project documentation pertinent to each project, including but not limited to: project charter, project plan and timeline, RACI and reportsIdentify, assess and minimize risks; resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashionDevelop and manage project reporting approach; compile quantitative data and proof points to communicate impact and storytelling for reporting. Support content development for snippets and quarterly updates as neededQualifications5-7 years experience managing large, complex projects, particularly those involving a medium to significant degree of change across the organizationPMP and/or Lean Sigma certifications preferredDemonstrated ability to: synthesize discussions, capture decisions and action items; ask probing questions to clarify where needed; identify interconnectivity between workstreams to limit redundancy of templates, processes, etc.Ability to influence, drive clarity and alignment, and lead outside of traditional reporting lines and across multiple locations, functions and organizational levelsStrong stakeholder management with the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively across multiple locations, functions and organizational levelsAbility to meet multiple business needs across several projects, while working in a collaborative environmentCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
