Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in the building consulting engineering industry as a project designer, engineer, or project manager for institutional and commercial buildings. Applicants must be proficient in using Revit (with at least 2 years of experience) and AutoCAD to draft and design plumbing systems. Must have direct MEP consulting engineering experience. Duties Completes project designs, drawings, specifications, system studies, calculations, correspondence, survey, code studies, and construction administration as necessary. Performs 3D Revit and 2D CAD work. Performs involved and detailed design requirements. Receives project assignments from the firm’s Principals, Senior Associates/Associates or Senior Engineers/Project Managers. Knowledgeable of plumbing design elements in healthcare, institutional, and educational facilities. Recognizes problems quickly and seeks Principal, Senior Associate/Associate or Senior Engineer/Project Manager advice. Qualifications 2+ years of plumbing design experience with an Engineering Consulting firm Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.). Working knowledge of current Building Codes. High level of written and verbal communication skills.
