Entech Staffing Solutions is hiring experienced Auto Mechanics and Automotive Technicians for a full-time opportunity in Detroit, MI. We're looking for hands-on technicians who know their way around a vehicle, can diagnose mechanical problems, and take pride in quality repairs.
If you have experience in an independent repair shop, dealership, fleet maintenance, or general automotive repair, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
Diagnose and repair cars, trucks, and light-duty vehicles
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
Perform routine maintenance and general automotive repairs
Repair brakes, steering, suspension, engines, and other vehicle systems
Use scan tools and diagnostic equipment to identify problems
Inspect vehicles and verify repairs meet safety and performance standards
Perform road tests and complete repair documentation
Maintain a safe, organized work area
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as an Auto Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or Automotive Repair Technician
Strong mechanical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
Experience using automotive tools and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work on a variety of vehicle makes and models
Must have your own tools and a locking toolbox
ASE certification is a plus, but not required
