Branch Supervisor

Job Description Job Description Position Purpose: The Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch in tandem with the Branch Manager. Duties include staff training and safety, building rapport with customers and the community, and creating & implementing strategies to improve productivity and sales performance in efforts to achieve the financial targets. Essential Functions: - Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the physical inventory, perform physical branch inventories as needed - Maintain a qualified staff within defined headcount parameters - Manage day to day work, processes, payroll, attendance, time off, evaluations, discipline, and hiring decisions - Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation to improve branch performance - Support and enforce a culture of safety that adheres to all safety policies - Ensure all work required (including discrepancy processing) is completed efficiently, accurately, and timely, including but not limited to receiving, restocking, picking, shipping, returns, inventory management - Ensure standards of performance as a basis of review - Foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity - Ensure customers receive efficient, expedient service by all personnel and provide support on escalated customer requests as needed - Ensure all front counter operations are performed per policies and procedures - Manage retail display area to meet company goals and objectives - Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulatory and applicable laws - Must be able to pass certification of training on warehouse equipment where applicable (e.g., fork truck, wave picker, pallet jack, etc.) - Special projects as assigned by management Position Purpose: The Branch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operations of a branch in tandem with the Branch Manager.
