Position Title Student Teaching Supervisor Department/School School Social & Behavioral Sciences Salary/Pay Rate $1,270 per 1 credit with upward adjustment for years of service at Marist University. Pay may vary depending on credits pertaining to online, graduate, music, or lab courses. Job Summary The School of Social & Behavioral Sciences invites Student Teaching Supervisors for the 2026-2027 academic year. Essential Functions The Teacher Education Department is a collaborative community of 11 full‑time faculty as well as several valued part‑time faculty. The department offers New York State‑approved pathways including Adolescence Education with Special Education, Childhood Education with Special Education, a Birth through Grade 2 (B‑2) certificate, and the M.S. Ed. in Contemporary Curriculum and Instruction. Grounded in culturally responsive teaching and a commitment to the social good, faculty work closely with candidates to integrate theory, research, and sustained fieldwork, preparing innovative educators who are ready to support the success of all learners. Minimum Qualifications Teaching certification in relevant content grades 1‑6 or grades 7‑12.
