Site Manager

Our client, a major leader in the construction industry, consistently ranked as the top US General Contractors, is looking for a site manager to oversee a large project in the Elk Grove Village area. This is an outstanding role for a dynamic and highly motivated individual who is looking to make an immediate impact pioneering the management of a state-of-the-art facility.

Note this is an onsite position with an anticipated schedule of Monday-Friday, 6:45am-3:30pm . NO WEEKENDS OR EVENINGS. Robust compensation package, including paid time off, generous bonuses and robust benefit package.

Responsibilities:

• Daily onsite management of newly constructed facility with 500+ daily workers and visitors.
• Oversee IT, deliveries, and onsite vendors and visitors.
• Coordinate onsite events such as ground-breaking and ribbon cutting ceremonies.
• Manage catering of routine safety lunches for 500 employees.
• Assist safety teams with record keeping and organize.
• Support the daily site and office needs of the facility as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of site management or related experience required, construction experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Must be comfortable working the morning shift with an anticipated start time of 6:45am.
• Team-oriented work ethic, strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Quick on feet with proven ability to adapt to shifting daily priorities and provide hands-on support when needed.
