Quality Engineer IIEnsure company compliance with customer and internal quality requirements in a high reliability manufacturing environment. Drive supplier related quality initiatives and lead supplier development efforts. Track and assess quality performance metrics and facilitate root cause analysis investigations. Facilitate process improvements utilizing Lean/Six Sigma techniques. Drive process improvements utilizing Lean/Six Sigma techniques.Plan and direct development, application and maintenance of quality systems and proceduresPerform trend/performance analyses and initiates root cause investigationsEnsure compliance with program/project quality requirementsDevelop and implement inspection and test methods, techniques, equipment, and facilitiesAct as primary company interface with both suppliers and customers for quality related issuesProvide direction to inspectorsRequired Skills and QualificationsExperience working in a high reliability / aerospace manufacturing environmentAbility to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a timely and efficient mannerExcellent verbal and interactive communications skills with all levels of employees and managementBe able to write and review FAI reports in accordance with AS9102Demonstrated knowledge and analytical skills for most types of inspection tools Able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints and mechanical drawings including knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Ability to develop quality standards, procedures, and train personnel in their useFamiliarity with industry quality management standards such as AS9100/ISO 9001 and technical standards such as J-STD-001/IPC-610Knowledge of statistical methods and their applicationTrained in Lean/Six Sigma tools and processes Required Experience and Education Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent) Quality engineering experience10-15 years professional experience in a manufacturing environmentLicenses, Certifications, etc.Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (or equivalent) 5-8 years professional experience in a manufacturing environmentCertified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferredSix Sigma/Lean Green Belt certification preferredDepending on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I) level, intermediate (II) level or expert (III) level job and pay scale.Base Compensation: USD 91,000.00 - 110,000.00 Paid SalariedEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled23301 S.
