Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct therapy services to residents in accordance with established goals
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising OT
• Assist with patient evaluations and discharge planning
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current Massachusetts COTA license (or eligibility)
• NBCOT certification required
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
