Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Experience Requirements and Job Duties Experience inspecting manufactured products using established quality standards and specifications. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, or inspection documents. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring devices. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and document inspection results accurately. Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Experience using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools Basic ability to read and understand blueprints Ability to inspect parts and identify measurements that are out of tolerance Previous manufacturing, machining, or quality inspection experience preferred Willingness to learn and develop additional inspection skills, including CMMs Preferred Qualifications Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred. Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial.
