Department: Production Reports To: Department Manager Physical Demand Level: Medium to Heavy FLSA Status (US only): Non-Exempt SUMMARY The Production Technician meets daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This role does not have supervisory responsibilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Work safely in a team environment Meet daily production needs in manufacturing quality parts Must be able to read and learn to interpret specification sheets and mechanical drawings Must be able to learn to read precision measuring instruments Set-up/Troubleshoot equipment Assist other shifts or areas as needed Keep work area clean SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Must be proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, specification sheets, and/or mechanical drawings and in precision measurement or become proficient through training. Familiar with use of beakers, pipettes, hot plates, and other basic lab equipment. Capable of collection Plating Bath Samples for analysis. Experienced in basic Lab Safety. Can conduct, under supervision, titrations, mixing solutions per recipe, and other basic lab scale tests. Complete testing result reports and document on paper records.
