Fraud Specialist/Fraud Operations Specialist I

Hiring Fraud Operations Specialist Location: Overland Park, KS (Hybrid) Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential Extension) Pay Rate: $22/hr on W2 Work Schedule: Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote (after training) Training Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST (up to 2 months) Post-Training Schedule: 9:00 AM 8:00 PM CST (4x10 schedule) Available Shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OR Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday Responsibilities Review, identify, and deter fraudulent activity Conduct fraud investigations and customer authentication Handle inbound calls from victims of fraudulent activities Analyze data to validate customer identity and fraud concerns Investigate fraud escalations and recommend solutions Support fraud prevention processes and compliance requirements Communicate with internal teams regarding fraud-related cases Requirements US Citizen High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience in Fraud Operations, Customer Service, or Call Center environment Excellent verbal communication and listening skills Experience working in a Windows-based environment Ability to navigate multiple systems and screens simultaneously Strong phone, typing, and customer service skills Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules Preferred Background Fraud Investigation Fraud Prevention Identity Verification Customer Service Call Center Operations Banking or Financial Services #J-18808-Ljbffr Avacend
