Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough clinical assessments to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and challenges.
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the unique goals of each client.
Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing effective therapeutic techniques to facilitate growth and healing.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for all clients, fostering a unified approach to treatment.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Participate in regular clinical supervision and case conferences for continuous professional development and improved clinical practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your work will encompass a diverse range of clients, including those struggling with addiction, trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. Qualifications
A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group therapy within a mental health care setting.
Proficient in various evidence-based therapeutic modalities to effectively meet the diverse needs of clients.
Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients from different backgrounds.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, essential for documentation and client interaction.
A strong commitment to ethical practice and the safeguarding of client confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
Previous experience working with high-risk populations or specialized mental health issues.
Knowledge of different therapeutic techniques and methodologies to address a wide array of mental health conditions.
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems for effective record-keeping and client management.
Compensation and Benefits
