RN - Med/Surg Telemetry Resource Pool

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (6-Month Assignment) | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting as part of a resource pool
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care provided

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact license eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a resource pool or float pool capacity
• ACLS certification preferred
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring equipment and cardiac rhythms
