Lead.NET DeveloperLocation: Saint Paul, MN - Hybrid (On-site at least 2 days/week)Duration: 6-months assignment with possible extensionsJob Description:Lead, architect, prototype, design, develop, and deploy complex.NET and cloud-based applicationsProvide strong technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standardsCollaborate closely with solution architects, product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutionsImplement applications leveraging Clean Architecture and Domain-Driven Design principlesIntegrate .NET applications with third-party APIs, databases, and Azure cloud servicesOptimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability across multiple environmentsLead code reviews, enforce development standards, and drive continuous quality improvementsDesign and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and release managementTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environmentsEnsure compliance with security, data privacy, and accessibility standardsContribute to long-term technical planning, architecture decisions, and technology selectionPrepare technical documentation and lead knowledge transfer sessionsMinimum QualificationsFifteen (15) years of total software development experienceFive (5) years’ experience in application development using.NET framework and Microsoft technologiesCombined 5 years of experience in a Technical Team Lead .Net Engineer role designing and developing using Microsoft technologies and mentoring junior developersCombined Seven (7) years’ experience with one or more of the following frameworks: Angular, React, or BlazorCombined Five (5) years’ experience writing applications in Azure cloud and deploying code using CI/CD pipelinesDesired SkillsB.S., B.A., or an Associate Degree in Information Technology or related field5 years’ experience leading collaborative exercises with business and technical stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical designs8+ years of experience with the following front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript3+ years of experience in Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Event Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, and Azure infrastructure and identify Service including Azure (CIAM) cloud-based identity serviceFive (5) years of experience with hands-on work in API design, microservices architecture, distributed systems, and Azure Application Performance MonitoringTen (10) years of experience writing automated unit testsFive (5) years of experience with database design and development using SQL Server or Azure SQLExperience working on a mixed business and technical team in a hybrid telework/office setting work environmentStrong knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework, and performance analysis toolsExcellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
