Palantir Foundry / Databricks Migration Architect 12+ Months Remote Job Description We are seeking a hands-on Palantir Foundry / Databricks Migration Architect to lead the migration of existing Palantir Foundry capabilities to Databricks. The candidate will assess the current platform, define the target architecture, and guide the technical implementation. This is a client-facing role requiring strong architectural leadership and deep technical expertise. Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture and strategy for migrating Palantir Foundry workloads to Databricks. Assess existing Foundry Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Workshop apps, and business workflows. Design scalable Databricks solutions using PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and workflows. Define data models, governance, security, integration, and migration standards. Lead client workshops, explain architectural trade-offs, and guide engineering teams. Remain hands-on with technical design, prototypes, and critical implementation activities. Required Skills 12+ years of overall IT experience, including data architecture and engineering. Deep, hands-on Palantir Foundry experience as an FDE/FDSE, Deployment Strategist, Foundry Architect, or client-side technical lead. Strong understanding of Foundry Ontology, Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, and Workshop. Strong Databricks architecture experience with PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Python, and SQL. Proven experience designing enterprise data platforms and leading complex migrations. Excellent client-facing communication and technical leadership skills.
