ANATOMIC PATHOLOGIST, BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS (USA), with surgical pathology and/or cytopathology and other subspecialty fellowship training preferred. The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at Boston Medical Center Health System and Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is recruiting a full-time AP board certified/eligible Pathologist who has strong general pathology and other subspecialty skills. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in teaching pathology residents, medical and graduate students. There is an expectation of scholarly activity including collaborative research and publications, but the candidate will not be expected to submit grants for extramural funding. Academic rank will depend on the credentials of the applicant.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and departmental budget. The salary range is $240,951 to $427,772. BU conducts a background check on all final candidates for certain faculty and staff positions. The background check includes contacting the final candidate's current and previous employer(s) to ask whether, in the last seven years, there has been a substantiated finding of misconduct violating that employer's applicable sexual misconduct policies. To implement this process, the University requires a final candidate to complete and sign the form entitled "Authorization to Release Information" after execution of an offer letter.

Required Skills: Surgical pathology and/or cytopathology and other subspecialty fellowship training preferred. AP board certified/eligible Pathologist who has strong general pathology and other subspecialty skills.
