Minimum Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant training program. Valid CNA certification/license as required by Texas. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working as a CNA in a hospital, nursing home, or long-term care facility. CPR and First Aid certification. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Additional training in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation. Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations. Responsibilities: Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation. Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition. Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses. Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
