Details Medical Surgical unit setting Patient ratio of 1:6 Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM 36 or 48 hour scheduling options available Weekend shifts required Floating required to like units within scope as needed Epic charting system experience required Requirements Active RN license (NM or Compact) required BLS certification required 2 years of experience preferred Skills in IV therapy/phlebotomy, central line and PICC line management, and starting/maintaining IVs Respiratory care skills including BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tube care, and oxygen administration Experience with wound care/wound vac and isolation precautions/PPE Cardiac monitoring skills including telemetry and rapid response team utilization Renal and orthopedic care experience including pre/post hemodialysis management and total joint replacement care Additional Information Provide direct patient care to a Med/Surg population including cardiac, renal, respiratory, and orthopedic cases First-time travelers are welcome to apply Previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as locals are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-754179.
