Locations 99 AVENUE A , Bayonne, NJ, 07002, US (On-site) Job Schedule Full time Job Description As the Warehouse Manager, you will lead and develop a high‑performing team while driving change and improving operational efficiency. You will establish strong communication practices, engage employees, and implement process improvements to support continuous improvement. You will work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment with meaningful opportunities for growth. You will report on site, scheduled as M‑F, with approximate daily hours of 7:30 am ‑ 5:00 pm and some weekends and off‑hours work as needed. A company phone and laptop will be provided for this role. Responsibilities: Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the warehouse, with a team of salaried supervisors as direct reports, hourly coordinators and associates as indirect reports – up to 50 total employees. Lead a team of operations associates to ensure best‑in‑class customer service is delivered daily. Select, coach, counsel, and develop a team of warehouse associates, including a team lead. Align with sales to anticipate operational demands, build trust in operational ability, and provide exceptional service to our customers. Serve as a liaison and build meaningful relationships with leadership peers, sales teams, customer service, transportation, facilities, finance, audit teams, corporate quality and other Anixter teams. Design and implement new procedures, prepare cost projections, lead maintenance activities and analyze site performance. Monitor workflow, work completed, error rates and related metrics and adjust accordingly. Direct and oversee programs to ensure safety of all associates, equipment and property. Ensure compliance with all company, customer and government/regulatory requirements. Monitor and develop staffing plans to ensure proper staffing levels – manage labor costs, overtime and retention. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years required, 5 years preferred, of supervision in a warehouse environment. 1+ years required, 5 years preferred, of supervision with inventory control and cycle counting. Extensive experience leading full cycle warehouse activities. Experienced engagement with handling materials. Ability to interface effectively with warehouse team members, other departments, customers, sales teams and vendors. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment, set clear expectations, and hold people accountable. Experience identifying development opportunities and leading change initiatives. Knowledge of inventory management practices, warehouse and distribution best practices, quality management systems and facility maintenance programs. Excellent computer skills and warehouse management system experience required. Strong communicator, self‑directed, motivated and goal oriented. Compensation: $89,142 ­— ­115,884 annually (subject to variations by location, experience, etc.). For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
