About This Role We are a private, family-operated in-home care service based in Danville, dedicated to providing compassionate, non-medical support and meaningful companionship to older adults and individuals who wish to remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. We are looking for caregivers who genuinely love people — individuals who bring patience, warmth, and a strong sense of compassion and service to every visit. This is not a clinical role. It is a relationship role. Our clients value consistency, respect, and genuine human connection above all else. What You'll Do Companionship & Engagement Provide meaningful social interaction and emotional support Engage clients in conversation, activities, and hobbies Accompany clients on walks, appointments, and outings Read aloud, play games, or watch programs together Daily Living Support Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping Help with grooming, hygiene, and personal care routines Medication reminders (non-administration) Errands, grocery shopping, and transportation assistance Who We're Looking For Required Genuine empathy and patience 18 years of age or older Reliable transportation and valid CA driver's license Registered or willing to register with the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) Home Care Aide Registry (Guardian) Ability to pass a background check via CDSS Smartphone for communication and scheduling Eligibility to work in the United States Preferred Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or elder care CPR / First Aid certified CNA, HHA, or personal care aide training Experience with seniors, dementia, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's care References from prior care or employment Work Environment and Schedule Assignments are located in Danville and surrounding communities including Alamo, Diablo, Walnut Creek, and San Ramon. Schedules are tailored to client needs and may include: Weekday, Weekend, Morning and evening shifts (4–8 hours) Overnight or 24-hour live-in care Holiday availability (premium pay) Ongoing, recurring assignments with consistent clients Compensation and Benefits Stating Pay Range is $20 - $23 depending on experience. Mileage reimbursement provided for client transportation. Premium rates apply for holiday assignments. We are an equal opportunity employer.
