Our staffing agency is seeking an experienced Developer for one of our clients in Little Rock, Arkansas. The Developer will be responsible for developing, documenting, testing, and supporting complex applications and business solutions that support enterprise information initiatives. This position will work throughout the full application development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and documentation.


The ideal candidate will have strong programming and analytical skills, along with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. The Developer will collaborate with users, project teams, and other technical professionals to identify business needs, clarify project objectives, develop applications, and ensure solutions meet established enterprise standards.


This position is well suited for a technically skilled professional who can work independently while also contributing effectively in a collaborative team environment.


Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, test, debug, implement, and maintain enterprise applications and software solutions.
• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into functional and technical application solutions.
• Consult with users to understand current operating procedures and clarify project objectives.
• Participate in strategic and operational planning processes supporting enterprise initiatives.
• Develop and implement processes that promote accurate and effective workflow distribution.
• Provide technical expertise related to application subsystems and performance-related systems.
• Apply programming analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation practices throughout the application lifecycle.
• Use standard application design principles to create logical and physical application designs that promote efficiency, scalability, and code reuse.
• Develop applications and deliverables in accordance with established enterprise processes, standards, and procedures.
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems.
• Support the development of highly available, reliable, and high-performance applications.
• Create testable code and develop test protocols, test plans, and test scripts.
• Execute and review software testing activities, revisions, and test results.
• Assist with System Integration Testing (SIT) and other software testing methodologies.
• Gather and analyze data to support application development and system improvements.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide analytical problem-solving support.
• Maintain accurate technical and development documentation.
• Balance multiple projects and priorities while meeting established deadlines.
• Work independently and collaboratively with project teams, users, and technical personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field .
• In lieu of a degree, at least five (5) years of equivalent related experience may be considered.
• At least three (3) years of direct experience supporting source systems and project teams with developing, documenting, educating, and articulating complex business requirements.
• Experience supporting strategic and tactical business needs through application development and technical solutions.
• Knowledge and experience with data gathering, program logic development, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Knowledge of Application Systems Programming Design and Analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, balance competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
