Summary Set-up, prepare and handle A to Z of ocean export files and documents associated with Ocean export transactions; request bookings and spot rate requests according to established company procedures. Responsibilities Understand key compliance and operational aspects of client’s cargo shipments. Fully responsible for the shipment when handling from A to Z. Execute International export documents in timely and accurately according to Custom’s and Customers requirements along with timely closing of each file as per company policy. Familiarity with cargo handling impact of various commodity types (e.g., Hazardous, perishable, over-sized, etc.) Maintain current knowledge of local, state and federal requirements/regulations and applicable departmental/organizational policies. Ensure the maintenance of accurate records with adherence to applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as related essential documents Education and Requirements 3-5 years of related experience. Strong mindfulness is critical.
