Looking to leverage your EA credential and work on complex individual tax engagements? A Novi-area organization is seeking an experienced tax professional who enjoys challenging returns, client interaction, and opportunities to expand their technical expertise.
Location: Novi, MI | Onsite
Salary: $30-$50/hour

Key Responsibilities for the Enrolled Agent (EA)
Prepare complex individual (1040) tax returns
Analyze tax documents and identify filing considerations
Handle returns involving K-1s, investments, rental properties, and multi-state income
Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and required documentation
Research tax issues and provide compliance support
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
Qualifications for the Enrolled Agent (EA)
Active Enrolled Agent (EA) designation
5+ years of individual tax preparation experience
Strong experience preparing complex 1040 returns independently
Experience with K-1s, investments, and multi-state returns preferred
