RN - MedSurg/Tele

Med-Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM.

We have an immediate need for a Med-Surg RN who must be willing to float from Med/Surg to Observation as needed. The position requires flexibility and the ability to meet call requirements during the contract. Note that travelers will not be accepted if their permanent address is within 100 miles of our hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg and Observation units.
• Ensure assessments, planning, and implementation of patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and response to treatments in medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• Must be willing to comply with the Flu vaccine requirement.
• Travelers must adhere to the 100-mile radius rule.
• No more than 3 days off requests during the contract.
