Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Location: Mine Hill, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time | In-Office
Salary: $100,000–$135,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) to take a leading role in delivering comprehensive financial planning services to our clients.

This position will work closely with the President/Lead Advisor and other advisors to develop, implement, and maintain financial plans while providing a high level of service and attention to detail.

This is a non-sales financial planning position . You will work with an established client and prospect base and will not be responsible for generating new business or meeting sales quotas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the financial planning process for clients
• Develop, prepare, and maintain comprehensive financial plans
• Utilize eMoney and other financial planning technology
• Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information
• Work closely with advisors to develop appropriate planning strategies
• Meet and communicate with clients regarding their financial plans
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information and planning records
• Support new client onboarding and information-gathering processes
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of the firm's planning process
• Take ownership of the firm's financial planning responsibilities
• Maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality

Qualifications

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification required
• Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Financial Planning, Business, or Economics preferred
• Financial planning experience required
• Strong knowledge of comprehensive financial planning concepts
• Experience with eMoney or similar financial planning software preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable interacting directly with clients
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic and accountability
