Regional Sales Manager - LED & EV Charging | South

Overview

An established lighting and electrical technology manufacturer is seeking a Regional Sales Manager – South to drive revenue growth across the Southern U.S.

This role will lead a network of independent sales representatives, expand business through electrical distribution, and develop opportunities with ESCOs, electrical contractors, and commercial and industrial customers. The ideal candidate combines strong channel relationships with technical knowledge of commercial lighting, LED retrofit, and/or EV charging solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve regional sales and revenue targets through effective territory planning and execution.
  

• Manage, train, and develop independent manufacturer sales representatives.
  

• Grow sales through national and local electrical distributors.
  

• Develop relationships and project opportunities with ESCOs, electrical contractors, lighting contractors, and end users.
  

• Build territory sales plans focused on market penetration and profitable growth.
  

• Provide product and technical training to sales reps, distributors, contractors, architects, and customers.
  

• Manage project and stock-business pricing through electrical distribution.
  

• Identify new opportunities for commercial LED lighting, retrofit, and EVSE solutions.
  

• Monitor competitive activity, market pricing, industry trends, and customer requirements.
  

• Partner with inside sales, customer service, and marketing teams to support customers and drive regional growth.
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of lighting and/or EVSE sales experience
  

• 3+ years of technical sales experience
  

• 3+ years of experience selling through electrical distribution
  

• 3+ years of experience managing independent sales representatives
  

• Strong knowledge of commercial lighting, LED, EVSE, and the electrical industry
  

• Experience developing business with distributors, ESCOs, and electrical contractors
  

• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  

• Proven ability to work independently and manage a regional territory
  

Location & Travel

Preferred location: Dallas, Houston, or Austin, Texas with approximately 40% regional travel

Ideal Candidate

A results-driven regional sales professional who understands the commercial lighting and electrical distribution ecosystem and can develop reps, strengthen distributor relationships, generate contractor and ESCO demand, and convert project opportunities into profitable sales.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
