Job Description
This role focuses on new construction, renovations, and remodels of residential and commercial properties. You will perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, from framing and structural work to finish carpentry and installations, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized job site.
Responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial new construction, renovation, and remodel projects from start to finish.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Use, operate, and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment as required for each project.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the workday.
• Perform exterior and interior framing, including general framing and wood framing for walls, floors, and other structures.
• Install interior trim, including baseboards, casings, and other finish carpentry elements.
• Install cabinets and countertops with precision and attention to detail.
• Build and install decks, ensuring structural integrity and quality craftsmanship.
• Install various types of flooring as part of new construction and renovation projects.
• Install interior and exterior doors, ensuring proper fit, operation, and finish.
• Install windows, including proper flashing and sealing to meet quality and performance standards.
• Install siding and roofing components as part of exterior construction and renovation work.
• Read and interpret tape measurements accurately and perform precise layout work.
• Calculate and work with wall form fractions to ensure accurate measurements and cuts.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in residential and commercial construction, including new builds, renovations, and remodels.
• Strong carpentry skills across framing, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry.
• Hands-on experience with framing carpentry for interior and exterior structures.
• Proficiency in trim carpentry, including interior trim and finish work.
• Ability to install windows, including accurate measurement and fitting.
• Ability to install interior and exterior doors.
• Experience installing siding on residential and commercial buildings.
• Experience with roofing installation and related exterior work.
• Capability to perform drywall-related tasks as part of rough and finish carpentry work.
• Ability to use and maintain construction tools and carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong tape measuring and layout skills with accurate interpretation of measurements.
• Ability to understand, calculate, and apply wall form fractions in daily work.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe job site.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on both new construction and renovation/remodel projects.
• Both rough carpentry and finish carpentry environments.
• Comfort working independently or as part of a smaller field crew.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Ability to adapt to different project types and changing job site conditions.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Middleton, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $79040.00/yr.
