Travel Pharmacist - Santa Maria, CA

A healthcare facility on the CA Central Coast seeks four experienced Travel Pharmacists to support their pharmacy operations in San Luis Obispo, CA. This assignment offers two day-shift positions and two night-shift positions with an immediate start and a 13+ week duration.

Schedules:

• Two day shift roles: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
• Two night shift roles: 7 days on, 7 days off, nights (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders in line with pharmacy policies
• Supervise pharmacy technicians during shifts
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies
• Manage pharmacokinetics and related clinical functions
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for pharmacy workflows

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
• Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred, but training may be provided
