Summary

A Barista is responsible for creating a memorable guest experience by always providing fast, friendly service and highest of quality products at one of our coffeehouse or drive-thru only locations. A barista is also accountable for creating an efficient workflow individually and in a team setting, managing and operating all transaction payment systems, and maintaining store cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage in conversation with each guest, providing highest level of service and hospitality.
• Learn guest names and drink preferences.
• Welcome questions and seek to educate guests about our products.
• Suggestively sell gift cards and other products that benefit our business and guests.
• Ring up all transactions in timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Prepare all drink and food items according to recipes and aesthetic guidelines with a high level of speed, accuracy, and consistency.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and operate/maintain all store equipment.
• Open and close store according to company procedures.
• Work outside periodically as required (line-busting, sign waving, etc.)
• Perform at high level individually and within a team environment to provide high value to our team, customers, and organization.
• Comply to all policies, processes, and standards of our team.
