Role Description The Pain Management Physician is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role involves evaluating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, performing comprehensive histories and physical examinations, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests. The physician will develop individualized treatment plans that may include interventional procedures, regenerative therapies, medication management, and non-pharmacologic modalities in alignment with clinic protocols and best practices. Daily responsibilities include performing office-based procedures, monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans, and documenting care in the electronic medical record. The physician will collaborate closely with other clinicians and staff, participate in patient education, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory standards in pain management and regenerative care. Qualifications Board certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, or a related specialty, with current unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain) in California. Demonstrated expertise in pain assessment and management, including history-taking, physical examination, differential diagnosis, and development of multimodal treatment plans. Proficiency with interventional pain procedures (e.g., joint injections, nerve blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency ablation) and interest or experience in regenerative therapies such as platelet-rich plasma or stem-cell–based treatments. Strong patient-centered communication skills, including the ability to explain complex medical concepts clearly, set realistic expectations, and support shared decision-making. Experience working in a multidisciplinary or integrative care setting, collaborating with nursing, advanced practice providers, and allied health professionals. Comfort with electronic health records, documentation standards, and evidence-based clinical guidelines for opioid stewardship and non-opioid pain management. Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and maintaining a non-judgmental, trauma-informed approach to individuals living with chronic pain. Willingness to participate in continuing education, adopt new technologies and techniques in regenerative medicine, and contribute to practice growth and quality improvement.
