Requirements Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE. Graduated from an accredited school. Minimum one year's experience. Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or actively pursuing licensure. Current CPR certification. Other requirements as determined by the client facility. Duties & Responsibilities The Physical Therapist / PT is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, providing direct patient care, establishing and administering treatment programs, setting realistic goals, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families regarding appropriate physical therapy methods. Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient. Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders. Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions. Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
