LanceSoft is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.
Job Description & Requirements
- Specialty: Med Surg
- Discipline: RN
- Start Date: 08/16/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Local Contract
- ideal candidate has Acute Rehab and/or Med Surg background in hospital setting; 24 months experience [required]
- MUST be able to handle a variety of patients independently (neuro, ortho, trauma, oncology, etc) [highly preferred]
- experience caring for brain injury, limb loss and spinal cord injury [required]
- at least 1 successful travel contract completed within previous 24 months [ required ]
- due to patient population; NIHSS certificate is appreciated [nice to have]
- EPIC emr experience [required]
- Level I trauma experience [highly preferred]
- level II trauma experience [required]
