Emergency Veterinarian

Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Emergency Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This full-service veterinary emergency facility has been providing high-quality care to dogs and cats in Central Arkansas for over 20 years. Deeply rooted in the local community, the hospital offers a fast-paced environment where veterinarians work collaboratively to deliver exceptional emergency care to patients when they need it most.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Emergency Veterinarian responsibilities, providing emergency care for sick and injured patients while managing hospitalized cases throughout their treatment. You will assess and diagnose emergency presentations, develop and oversee treatment plans, and work closely with technicians to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Responsibilities also include performing emergency surgical procedures, delivering critical care, and maintaining exceptional standards of service for every patient admitted through the emergency department. Specific working hours will be discussed further. This opportunity is suited to an experienced veterinarian with at least one year of experience in emergency medicine or completion of a small animal rotating internship or emergency internship.

Practice Details
The practice provides the full scope of Emergency Services alongside specialised oncology services, offering a varied and rewarding emergency caseload. The hospital is equipped with, but not limited to, an In-House Laboratory, Digital Radiology, Ultrasound, and Endoscopy, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care. Emergency services are available Monday from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM, Tuesday from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM, Wednesday from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM, Thursday from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM, and Friday from 12:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Specialty care services are available Monday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Wednesday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

You will be joining a team of 4 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
