Culinary Aide

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Culinary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the culinary department manager and cook by ensuring residents receive nutritious meals that cater to dietary needs. The position requires strong focus on customer service, time management, and culinary passion.


Job Duties:

• Assisting in the preparation of menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
• Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the culinary department, adhering to health and safety standards
• Collaboration with the culinary team to ensure timely meal delivery and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized working station
• inventory management, including receiving food deliveries and storing supplies appropriately
• Adhere to food safety and regulation standards set forth

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in a culinary setting is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with culinary standards and regulations
• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Time Management
• Ability to work in a team environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
