Our law firm client is hiring an on-site Virtual Events Assistant to support their team in Washington, DC!!

This exciting role offers the opportunity to manage every stage of event planning and execution, from logistics and speaker coordination to virtual hosting and attendee engagement—all within a fast-paced, professional environment. Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in event planning, ideally within professional services
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficiency with Zoom Meetings, Zoom Webinar, or similar virtual meeting platforms
• Excellent communication skills—both oral and written
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) course creation
• Knowledge of event expense tracking and vendor coordination
• Skills in creating event materials such as PowerPoint slides, handouts, and name tags
• Experience with hybrid event production and technical support

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required
• 2-4 years of professional event planning experience, with a background in corporate or client-focused environments

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to occasionally travel to off-site events and serve as an on-site virtual host
• Ability to operate in a hybrid environment, with at least four days per week in-office in Washington, DC; remote work available on one day per week
