Customer Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary Customer Logistics Supervisor in Burnsville, MN within Ryder’s Supply Chain Solutions division. The role reports to the Manager and is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and overseeing day‑to‑day logistics operations while providing coaching, development, and training to staff. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day‑to‑day logistics operations. Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to ensure they meet company standards and customer service specifications. Establish work schedules and procedures, coordinating activities of the workers to ensure optimal shift and team logistics. Accountable for site Key Performance Indications (KPIs) in collaboration with customers. Meet regularly with team members, collectively and individually, to monitor progress toward objectives, track performance, coach, counsel, and recognize successes. Promote teamwork and diversity through inclusion initiatives and seek opportunities to improve internal processes. Conduct performance evaluations, recommend performance awards or merit increases, and address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes. Understand labor agreements and maintain positive labor relations with employees. Implement health, safety, and security initiatives, practices, and behaviors while adhering to company rules and policies. Provide orientation and leadership to new hires and Hands, supplying necessary information, technology, and materials. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED (required). One (1) year or more experience in a transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment (preferred). Direct supervisory or leadership experience of up to one (1) year (required). DOT regulated status not required. Compensation & Benefits Annual salary: $65,000 (exempt); paid twice per month.
