Job Duties

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy approaches to help them reach their rehabilitation milestones
• Implement Treatment Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to enhance patients' mobility, cognitive functions, and everyday skills
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work in synergy with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic practices to maintain progress outside of sessions
• Monitor and Evaluate Patient Progress: Systematically track treatment outcomes and refine strategies to keep patients on their individualized paths

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
• Encouraged participation in continuing education or advanced certifications

Licenses

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in Michigan
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
